Treko Branding
Giving identity to a Chilean product
Client: Treko

Art Direction and styling for the first photo shoot.
Created brand label and pitched the idea of having the logo mark in metal, providing a tangible artifact that elevated the packaging beyond just a label.

Role: Brand Design, Art Direction, Photo Direction
Photography: Gretchen Gausse

Founded with the purpose of preserving and sharing the work of Chilean artisans, TREKO is a line of handmade, all-natural wool luxury textiles. TREKO needed to establish an identity from the ground up. The ask was to develop a visual identity that could pay tribute to the artisan craftsmanship of TREKO’s products. From the beginning, I thought about the product's natural materials and wanted to preserve the handmade feeling across the brand identity.

The logo design was rooted in the idea of stamps, utilizing a ball of wool as its icon. I proposed neutral color tags that complemented the products, as well as allowed for the brand to be manually stamped on them. Additionally, I had the opportunity to direct the overall look and feel of the brand in other mediums. While developing the concept, photo art direction, and styling, I worked alongside the talented photographer, Gretchen Gause, to shoot a series of product and lifestyle shots that brought the brand identity to life.
