Treko,a brand true to it’s origins
Founded upon the purpose to preserve and share the work of Chilean artisans, TREKO is a line of handmade, all-natural wool luxury textiles. TREKO needed to establish an identity from the ground up. The ask was to develop a visual identity that could pay tribute to the artisan craftsmanship of TREKO’s products. From the beginning, I thought of the natural materials of the product and wanted to preserve the handmade feeling throughout elements of the brand identity. The logo design was rooted in the idea of stamps, utilizing a ball of wool as its icon. I proposed neutral color tags that complemented the products, as well as allowed for the brand to be manually stamped on them. Additionally, I had the opportunity to direct the overall look and feel of the brand in other mediums. While developing the concept, photo art direction and styling, I worked alongside the talented photographer, Gretchen Gause to shoot a series of product and lifestyle shots that brought the brand identity to life.
